Par-Con is back for 2026! Par-Con, the Parkinson’s UK community convention, is our free, 2-day in-person and online event for the Parkinson's community. It gives attendees the chance to hear from expert speakers, connect with others and learn more about living well with Parkinson's.

Par-Con is for everyone, especially those affected by Parkinson’s and their friends, carers and family members.

In order to plan and deliver the best possible event we’d like to once again work collaboratively with people affected by Parkinson’s to design Par-Con. From February - November, you will advise on a number of event elements including the agenda, venue, event promotion and much more.

Most recently, our 2025 event attracted nearly 2000 people from around the UK (and internationally) with over 400 people joining us in-person in Birmingham. Attendees heard from speakers on a range of topics such as research, mental health and diet. The event also included the Parkinson’s UK Annual General Meeting (AGM) and the Community Awards. You can watch all of our 2025 sessions here as well as our Par-Con 2025 highlights!

Here’s what one of our past volunteers had to say about their experience: 'The Parkinson’s community is exceptionally inclusive and willing to help others. The group was so positive and supportive it led to me supporting others who were newly diagnosed.'

You can also listen to Adrian’s experience here.

The deadline for applications is 11 January.
