Group Helper (Pocklington Cafe)

People tell us that meeting others living with Parkinson's is the most important support they want locally. With your help, we can provide this in a relaxed, informal way at Pocklington Parkinson's Café.

We meet on the first Wednesday of each month, from 10.30am to 12.30pm at Stamfords Bar & Grill, 12 Union Street, Pocklington YO42 2JL. You'll meet with people affected by Parkinson's, bringing them together to share experiences and support one another. You'll be supported by Parkinson's UK staff to signpost people to Parkinson's UK support services whilst making a real difference to your local Parkinson's community.

This is a lovely sociable role approx 2 hours a month attending the cafe and welcoming people to the group.
