New treatments for people with Parkinson’s can’t come fast enough. That’s why we’re taking a radical new approach to research. It’s speedier, more agile, and means we only invest in the best ideas.

The Research Support Network (RSN) brings together people driven to help find a cure and better treatments for Parkinson’s. Through our Network, anyone can get connected, take part and have their say in Parkinson’s research.

Our Research Interest Groups (RIGs) support us with our key aims at a regional level. As a volunteer, you’ll work with local groups, researchers and staff to coordinate, initiate and participate in research activities.

Location varies, depending on region. Some groups meet online via Zoom, others meet in person at Universities or other research institutions. We can discuss exact location details in advance of you taking on the role in your area.

Time commitment also varies depending on region. Most groups aim to meet quarterly, with meetings lasting 2-3 hours plus travel and preparation. Occasionally in between meetings you’ll be asked for feedback on projects and documents, this could take up to a further 2 hours per month approximately.
