Activity Leader (Thetford Cafe)

Parkinson’s changes lives. From the day of diagnosis, people with Parkinson’s and their loved ones need to know we’re by their side.

In Thetford, we have a cafe for people with Parkinson’s and their friends and families to come and informally get to know other people in their situation so people can just pop along for a cuppa and a chat. Everyone pays for their own refreshments so the activity leader will just need to contact the cafe to make sure there is a space available each month and greet people when they arrive. There are a lot of things on the role description as we use it for all our different activities but you don’t need to do a risk assessment or anything else more formal in this role as you’re all just getting together in a public place!
