Activity Leader (Bicester)

By 2024 Parkinson’s UK will provide personalised information, services and opportunities, from day one, to many more people affected by the condition. But, we need your help to do this.

In Bicester, we have a cafe for people with Parkinson’s and their friends and families to come and informally get to know other people in their situation. The cafe takes place from 1.30 - 3pm on the second Tuesday of each month at Savoir Fare Cafe so people can just pop along for a cuppa and a chat. An informal catch up, we’re looking for an activity leader to run it. Everyone pays for their own refreshments so the activity leader will just need to contact the cafe to make sure there is a space available each month and greet people when they arrive. There are a lot of things on the role description as we use it for all our different activities but you don’t need to do a risk assessment or anything else more formal in this role as you’re all just getting together in a public place!
