Marketing and Publicity Volunteer (Leicestershire)
Our local groups provide friendship, support and activities to people affected by Parkinson's in the local area. But, only once people have found out about the group! With an interest in marketing and publicity you'll help build the profile of the group and communicate with the local community, connecting people to the support they need to live well with Parkinson's.
Put your marketing and communications skills to use, letting your creativity flow as you produce newsletters, get involved with social media, and more to promote your local groups in Leicestershire, and Rutland.
Our desire is to engage with the Parkinson’s community with a uniform message and a simple model. We are looking for someone who can help develop and support the way we communicate with the Parkinson's community. The Leicestershire groups have their own website with details of the activities provided as well as how people can support the group. In this role you would be using your website development skills to maintain the website, working with other volunteers in the group to make sure the information on there is up-to-date.
This fun and flexible role can be done from home, and you'll be supported by other Parkinson's UK staff and volunteers.
As part of recruitment, you will be asked to provide a reference for this role.
