Cafe Volunteer (Axminster Cafe)

People consistently tell us that meeting others living with Parkinson's is the most important support they want locally. With your help, we can provide this in an relaxed, informal way at our new Axminster Parkinson's 'cafe' group at the Hanger leisure centre.

As a cafe volunteer you'll meet new people, bringing them together to share experiences and support one another - you included.

You'll meet and greet attendees, and along with at least one other volunteer, keep the group running smoothly. You can help develop the group and work with other volunteers to take the group forward.

You will be supported by Parkinson's UK in your role.

No experience of living or working Parkinson's is necessary. We are looking for friendly, pro active volunteers who want to support their local community and help make a difference. The group are meeting monthly at the moment.
