Parkinson’s UK launched the Tech Guide late last year: a brand new service for people affected by Parkinson’s, delivered online and in print. The Tech Guide aims to help people with Parkinson's discover devices and apps that could improve their quality of life, and to help them choose the right solutions for them.

It is important to Parkinson’s UK that the services we provide are shaped by the people who will use them. That means working with people with Parkinson’s and the people who love and care for them every step of the way.

Our Steering Group has played a central role in shaping how we develop and deliver the Tech Guide. This group of people with Parkinson's and family members sets our direction and priorities, as well as holding us to account for delivering a good solution.

We need to recruit 2 new people to join this Steering Group. We're especially keen to hear from family members of and carers for people with Parkinson's. Don't worry if you aren't especially 'techy'. We need plenty of normal folks like you!

The Steering Group meets online for 1 hour every 2 weeks at present. There is a small amount of preparation between meetings, mainly reading agendas, reports and minutes.
